Unwavering life

Trapped and burnt and pierced and abandoned

The shadow sighs!

Listening to the rhythmic waves of the song

The shadow extends its greasy hands towards me!

What could I do? What could I do?

The shadow wears long-forgotten attire

Reminding me of the long- lost nightmare,

The never-ending waves of blood and tempest and blood…

I saw the shadow vanishing once on the other edge of the ocean

But the ocean waves returned back to my shore

Tying the shadow in shackles,

To leave it with me…

I buried the shadow deep down in the earth

In the Earth from where it sprouted!

Unwavering were my hands

And the shadow–  broken, fading, dissolving…
